Pastor's Retreat

Our trip to Seneca Rocks, West Virginia was all that!!! I traveled down to Seneca with Russell and his dad on Thursday morning. We went to Dolly Sods, Blackwater Falls, Canaan Loop Road and eventually ended up at Seneca High Adventure Christian Camp. Our time at SHACC was great.

The preaching line-up was as followed (this may not be in the exact order):

1. Scott Bates, Mercer, PA.

2. Jim Holt, Inwood, WV

3. Billy Shepherd, Woodbridge, VA

4. Carroll Williams, Martinsburg, WV

5. Gary Bowers, Littlestown, PA

6. Ricky Knight, Grand Prairie, TX

7. Robert Myers, Gambrills, MD

All of the messages were top-shelf.

There was one negative to the retreat. Pastor Billy Shepherd fell last night and broke his ankle. Our prayers are definitely with him.

God reminded me through Scott's message that the ministry takes Human Effort, but cannot be done efficiently or successfully without Divine Enablement. Thanks for this reminder, Scott. It was encouraging!!!
