Seneca Rocks, Here We Come

Tomorrow morning most of the pastors from the Mid-Atlantic Baptist Association will be traveling to Seneca Rocks, West Virginia for a Pastor's Retreat. I am looking forward to some good preaching and for a time of restoration.

Last year's retreat was truly a blessing. None of the pastors who spoke (last year) came with an agenda to get on their hobby horses, so, I am praying for the same type of messages this weekend. As pastors, we don't need another sermon that bashes what we do or think (there may be a time for this), but what we need is a good dose of the Word of God. We need encouragement. We need a good shot in the arm. We need revival.
