Mason-Dixon Festival (9/17/06)

David and I arrived around 11:40 a.m. at the Hazel Ruby McQuain Riverfront Park to lead our community in a 12:00 p.m. worship service. After the first few minutes of being there we knew we had made several mistakes.

First, we should have done a better job of promoting this event among our church and community.

Second, we should have hosted a tail-gate party at the Warner Theatre before the main event, then have all of our people come down to the Park for our regular Sunday Service.

Third, we should have used this opportunity to serve the people of Morgantown.

Hindsight is always 20/20. So, with that being said, if we get another opportunity to serve our community we'll do a better job of planning and promoting the event.
