I like and have repeated what I heard one preacher say. He said, "You can't make your own kids mind. What makes you think you can make the devil mind you?" I think James gives us good advice. Submit yourself to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
Let's leave that up to God because greater is He that is in me than he (our enemy) that is in the world.
